Easy actions for Darfur

Please act now to do these simple steps!

  • Click here to submit a question for the upcoming presidential town hall debate on October 7th.  Make sure presidential candidates Senators John McCain and Barack Obama are asked questions about Darfur and their plans to end genocide.  Select "Continue as Guest" and use "Homeland Security" as your question category.  Suggested questions:
    - In what way would your approach to ending the Darfur genocide differ from that of President Bush?
    - Besides talk, what NEW action would you take to stop the genocide in Darfur
    ?
  • Click here to ask the Commission on Presidential Debates to allow more time for international affairs topics so that the candidates can speak about their plans for Darfur.  Click here to read the Huffington Post article by Jirair Ratevosian and Susan Morgan.
  • Click here to be a voice for Darfur.  Join the Save Darfur Coalition national campaign to get one million people to tell the new president to make Darfur a priority from Day 1.
  • Click here to become a "fan" of the new Facebook page to encourage the presidential candidates to tell voters their Darfur plan BEFORE the election.  Senators Obama and McCain have both expressed concern about the ongoing genocide, but have yet to develop a detailed Darfur plan, to talk about their plan when they campaign, or address current events as the crisis in Darfur evolves. Join us in demonstrating to the candidates and to the press corps that Darfur is an issue that deserves frequent and specific attention on the campaign trail.

Boston divestment from Sudan -- help needed

Ben Simon is leading an effort
